Eléna Jabri is a Research Assistant at the European Policies Research Centre (EPRC). Based in Delft and Glasgow, EPRC is a leading institute for comparative research on public policy, with a particular
focus on regional development policies. Eléna holds a BA in Urban Planning from the University of Toulouse Jean-Jaurès in France, and an MA in European Studies for Territorial and Urban Development
from the University of Lille in France. She is particularly interested in research related to European regional and territorial development policies, notably the European Union’s Cohesion Policy.
She gained expertise in European policies in the EU and International Affairs Division of the Berlin Senate, where she was involved in cooperation activities within European networks and monitoring legislative developments at European level. She also gained knowledge of EU Cohesion Policy during her experience in the Secretariat of the Committee on Regional Development at the European Parliament.
She then gained insight into working with European regional authorities in a regional representation office in Brussels, monitoring European financial support to EU regions for local and regional development and providing policy advice and recommendations for the region.
