Cabucu favela consolidated SMALLOn April 24, the IHS and the Group of SPS promoted a joint networking activity. Roberto Rocco was invited to present to students of the Research Workshop ‘SOC’ (Self Organised Cities) at the IHS, which was followed by a discussion between students of IHS and TU Delft on possible collaborations and research agendas for the future.

This was initiative of students and teachers of IHS and TUDelft to promote exchange and cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of education and research in international development. 5 TU Delft students were present and contributed to the debate. (Yos Purwanto, Josiena Simonian, Maarten Kempenaarm Joost de Bont and Wouter Pocornie).

The activity follows a successful symposium and networking event organised by Explore Lab (TU Delft) students and supported by SPS. SPS is keen on building up capacity and knowledge in international development studies and sees IHS as an important partner.

This was an informal initiative with no institutional ties.
